The Vanguard International Ignites A Sizzling Fashion Show Extravaganza

The runway of this exclusive night in fashion was red hot and sizzled with creations by talented designers that included; Beni Boo, Curtis Elliot, Olesia Lezovaia and Naureen Azeem. The show producer and organizer Shawn Cuffie explains why this exhibition was necessary and greatly needed. ”I feel like the fashion scene in Toronto needs a lot of work. I think we need to work together, network a lot more. We can do something fabulous if we all do it together. “

The show not only celebrates fashion, inclusivity, music, and the arts, it's also a portal that embraces community and diversity. A world where boundaries dissolve and creativity reigns. This is why producing The Vanguard International in Toronto was very important to Cuffie.“I have noticed that we are missing a number of things in and around our city, our communities and our cultures and I have created an event that’s very inclusive. Somewhere where cultures can shine, everybody belongs. We welcome you to celebrate with us, no matter who you are, your sexual orientation, colour, or religion. Eat, drink, support and have a good time!”
Guests were treated to entertaining acts throughout the evening by talented artists; drag performances by Suki Doll, musical numbers by singers Honey Benjamin and Shy Musiq, and a dance presentation executed by Baila Boogaloo.
